Better Than Baked Alaska

Alaska Airlines recently gave Raul and Cozumel a huge thumbs up in their in-flight magazine.

Rob Dunton, who writes for the the high-flying publication, had kiteboarding lessons with Raul in the summer.

He makes it clear in his special article how much he and his girlfirend, Susan, loved it.

"We're entranced with kiteboarding, we could easily spend a month honing our skills!”.

Of course, it takes more than a few lessons to learn, but Rob says he already "blossomed" under Raul's guidance. We hope he's back soon for some more!

The Roots of Kiteboarding

"In the beginning, God made Earth and put humans on it. There was the ocean, calm and peaceful and humans thought it was boring.

So God made waves for humans to get a ride. The humans jumped onto their surfboards and went off. Humans thought it was better, but it was not enough. They wanted to surf the whole Earth.

So God made wind which blew across the entire surface of the planet. Humans grabbed their kites and together with their boards a new sport was created. This was the birth of KITEBOARDING." ;o)

"Whether on water, ground or snow, grab a kite and slide on a board!"
